Running for Mark

So I'm here again so soon. I can't type long so hears the short quick story.

A dear friend of mine has approached me with the idea of running in the St. George Marathon in honor of Mark. She is wanting anyone who would be interested in running to please call. Her name is Penny Woodbury 801-572-1014. The deadline for the lottery to try and get a spot in the race is May 1st. Most of you know that Mark had just run this Marathon in the beginning of October 2005. Then we found out about the cancer just a little under two weeks later. We are going to try and have shirts made. We need a name for our group, and whatever we raise will go to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundatioin. I'm not heading this up, but I am going to be helping and cheering on those who are running.

This isn't coming as easy now.

I struggle with time to post and knowing what to post. I'm having a hard time knowing what to say. Maybe it will come to me soon. Grief presents itself in so many different ways and it changes from day to day and week to week. Feelings that I thought I would have immediately after Mark died are just now coming out. I will try to share more later. It's just not coming easily, and I'm too disheveled to try and work it out.

The kids are doing really good. We turn to each other often in joy and sadness. I am so lucky to have each one of them. They each bring something to my life that only they can bring. I know I need to put updated pictures on here so you see how they've grown, Lucas especially. He's changed so much. He looks so much like Mark, in fact, each of our children look so much like him it's kind of strange.
