The Marathon

Thank you!!!
A thousand, and most heartfelt thanks to those who ran the marathon and to those who donated to the cause in honor of Mark. It's hard for me to explain the emotions that I felt. It was difficult, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. We were not able to see each runner cross the finish line which made me sad. There was a large group of us that got a call when Penny, Spence, Todd and Jolynn were at 21 miles. We all hurried to the finish line and didn't have to wait long before we saw the four of them run that final stretch together. We were all wearing our "Mark, Set, Go" t-shirts. Thanks Rick and Winebrenners for the t-shirt. We all went to find Penny, Spence, Todd and Jolynn in the park when they came out of the "holding area." We hugged and cried for a long time. Each one said they could feel Mark was with them. They said it was so hard, but they knew they could do it for Mark. It was one of those moments that are etched permanently on your mind. I will treasure it always. I love you all. I know that Mark loves you and appreciates what you did for him. Hugs to all - you know who you are. The Mark Clements family thanks you and Mark's extended family thanks you.

2007 St. George Marathon

This is a big weekend as many friends ran the St. George Marathon to honor Mark and to raise awareness and money for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, the foundation our family has started. This is the T-shirt, which we will make available for purchase (more details to come soon). Also, here is the link to an article in the Deseret News about the Mark as well as a link to the story they did on Fox 13 news.
More to come soon.
